The call came
Late in the morning
While Amerika was yawning
Palestine was mourning
Thousands dead
In atrocious attacks
As the world protests
Like the invasion of Iraq
In 2003
This is 20 years since
No weapons of mass destruction

Here I stand folks
No robes no glowing head rings
I don’t drown whole peoples
Commit genocide none not those things

Don’t hurl lightning bolts
That’s just the effects
Of atmospheric charges
I won’t condemn you for unwed sex

Forgotten ill begotten
of lowly birth
Hindmost hated most
the wretched of the earth

Called the criminal element
irrelevant to the power elite
By them unprotected but expected
to bow at their feet

Not me, my sights are set on

The Zionists kill
Palestinian children
claiming terrorists
attack from behind civilians
yet they
created Israel
use it as a whole society
of human shields
a nation of settlers
where Jewish identity
is used with impunity
to wield
violence genocide
ethnic

race is an invention
a social prison
of artificial division
the oppressed separated
into ranks that race
for first place
in a caste system
based
on the color of one’s face
created
by those in power under
capitalism
so that

Who are they
serving and protecting
with knees
on our necks?
The only service
we get is
disrespect.

They are here solely for
the powerful and rich,
Protecting their bottom line
their high end crimes
