the game of
control is old
good cops think they slick
when they’re nothing
but the opposite method
of control from the stick
it’s just a trick
they’re the carrot
the siren’s song
the honey to capture
flies when vinegar is too strong
to make you believe you’re wrong
make you go along
like a woman in a thong
their role is to seduce you
reduce you
to giving in
to an oppressed situation
pretending that theirs’
is a compassionate occupation
they’re not your friend
I’ll say it again and again
in the end
officer friendly is just
a slimy motherfucker
trying to win a child’s trust
with a two cent sucker
