night of growth
from gestation
comes youth

cycle of life
first begun
two forms
joined
to one

from a pool
dark in form
emitted to light
newly born

a gift to a world
torn by strife
oblivious to

The thing with invented
Professions
Are it’s self proclaimed professionals
Are in possession
Of all the made up credentials
That are essential
To inventing false social afflictions
Then prescribing treatments
That cause bad results like drug addictions

Our survival
Since our arrival
On western shores
In scores
Of slave ship holds
Under the whip
To be sold

Late in the morning

Palestinian children
