THANKS TO PUBLIC SUPPORT MY CANCER TREATMENT HAS RESUMED (2023) By Kevin “Rashid” Johnson

On June 30, 2023 I was thrown in solitary confinement here at Virginia’s Sussex
1 State Prison under the guise of being under investigation by prison officials.

I was denied all my property and the warden here devised to stop my daily
radiation treatments for prostate cancer. Treatment that was deliberately denied
and delayed for over a year and a half in attempts by prison officials to allow
the cancer to fatally spread.

Several calls were sent out for public support against this abuse, and after
your complaints my treatments were resumed. It wasn’t until two weeks later
however that some of my property was returned to me, although not all of what I
need to pursue my pending court cases and scheduled federal trial. I still
remain in solitary confinement in an unlighted cell.

Once again the people came to my aid in the time of need and I am once again
humbled and grateful to you – the public, and my comrades, friends and
supporters – for your support which has won the resumption of my cancer
treatment and the return of some of my property.

When we dare to struggle we dare to win!
Thank you and All Power to the People!
