Of some Black achievements,
And a few mild

From Amerika’s founding fathers
To its oil barons and robbers
Your heroes ain’t mines.
Fascists and deviants
Warmongers slave drivers
Pedophiles lynchers
Native genociders
Your heroes ain’t mines.
Those who claim fame
We don’t see the same
Ain’t nobody down
Like Big Momma,
Kept it G
Through all the drama.
She was there
When you were born,
Had words of wisdom
When you were scorned.
When they jaded you
She aided you,
Combed out your knots
Brushed
There’s a whole history
of bloody denial,
Of crimes and benefits
for which you must reconcile.
From slavery and genocide
to Jim Crow outrages,
Your imprint is all over
Amerika’s racist history pages.
The most heinous abuses
were at your
Amerika has always denied,
Holding political prisoners…
they lied.
From original Panthers
to anarchists and
anti-imperialists,
They’ve always exiled
executed or locked away
those who were serious.
About challenging the status quo
removed so they couldn’t show,
The masses

There were no races
Before 1676,
During that time
Europeans and Arikans were mixed.
On the plantations
As servants and slaves,
United as one
Cradle to grave.
They suffered lived
Loved and died the same,
Then in

Soledad brother,
With a
Solid ass mother.
She raised a revolutionary man
That they HAD to kill,
Even still
He left a will.
And testament
To the people,
So decades later
We’re still seeing sequels.
