The socialist states
are all gone
Does this mean capitalism
has finally won?
By no means
is the fate of all decided
Just because the rich now
have divided
And eat the world like
a pie
Causing billions to die
While every word they speak
is a lie
The gap between rich and
poor is unrivaled
And there’s the question
of our very survival
On a planet
raped
of every resource
And a world order
held
together by force
Of nuclear blackmail
cells filled with Black males
And an underdeveloped world
where life is like hell
It took centuries of pitfalls
for the rich to take power
To uproot the kings from
their ivory towers
So how much easier
do you think it would be
For workers to set
the whole world free
To finally overthrow the
wealthy
Whose moves are so devious
and stealthy
That they use us to
police us
While looking to them
with trust
Which is why we must
not just
Destroy
property relations
But the ideas spread
under capitalist persuasion
That allows them to starve us
and steal
The wealth and things
we build
And keep us running our whole
lives on a treadmill
It’s these outrages
that will fuel our fight
Awaken our unrivaled might
to set our sights
On turning the world upright
When as workers of the world
we unite!
