GOOD INTENTIONS BAD RESULTS (2026)

The intentions
Of those who mean well
Seem well
But often pave the path
To a mean hell
Because when we fail
To take proper measure
Of the limits of our means
But instead find pleasure
In confusing what’s real with our dreams
Not the reality
We can deliver
Nor the resulting injuries
Like a puppy fighting a tiger
Desire does not equal ability
For those in critical need
When we give false hope
We mislead them to believe
They’ll be tossed a rope
To pull them to safety but fatally
It’s just a noose on which they choke
So we must cultivate intelligence
Unite our collective will
So we have the skill
To heal not kill the ill
Acting alone we sow seeds
That reap tangles of weeds
The unintended consequences
When we mislead
Those we want to assist
With efforts doomed to fail
And in the end we only send
Those needing salvation straight to hell
