We have an important update: Kevin \u201cRashid\u201d Johnson has been returned from South Carolina to Virginia custody.<\/strong><\/p>\n This is a major victory. Thank you to everyone who called, emailed, shared, and kept pressure on officials while Rashid was being held in South Carolina under retaliatory and isolating conditions. People power helped get him out of South Carolina exile.<\/p>\n But the fight is not over.<\/p>\n Rashid is now at Keen Mountain Correctional Center<\/strong> in Virginia, and he urgently needs access to his legal property, personal property, and a tablet for communication<\/strong>.<\/p>\n He has multiple lawsuits against VADOC and SCDC with upcoming deadlines. Without his legal materials, he may miss court deadlines in active litigation. Without tablet access, he remains cut off from the people helping him litigate, publish, communicate, and survive.<\/p>\n This is not a routine property issue.
