A love manufactured<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By one’s own desperate<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of which the partner<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Takes unfair advantage<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Causing the heart<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To suffer further damage<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But if it can manage<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To survive being tossed<\/p>\n\n\n\n
By a tempest to and fro<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All may not be lost<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But there will be onion layers<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of proud flesh and scars<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Constant wariness and distrust<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Like the trauma of many wars<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One will need a breakthrough<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To peel back and rise above<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The pain and loss multiplied<\/p>\n\n\n\n
