\nMany events in our freedom struggle
\nNot to be deterred
\nLike Gabriel Prosser and Nat Turner’s
\nRevolts
\nWhere like gods of freedom fighting
\nWe hurled lightning bolts
\nAt the throats of our captors
\nKings of capital all
\nRefusing to live on our knees
\nFought back standing tall
\nRefusing to fall
\nUnder the fiercest blows
\nOf the fiercest foes
\nWith fierce resistance we chose
\nTo fight on
\nTill all are free
\nThis history etched deep
\nIn our memory
