Forgotten ill begotten
\nof lowly birth
\nHindmost hated most

Called the criminal element

Dethrone the rich
\nswitch the status quo
\nConvert the ignorant and poor

Reduce the high to the low
\ndispossess them
\nRedistribute wealth
\nthe poor don’t need divine help to bless them<\/p>\n
Through collective struggle
\nwe the have nots
\nCan meet our own needs
\npooling what we’ve all got<\/p>\n
Cooperation not competition
\nlike the Panthers taught
\nThis is the war
\nthat must be fought<\/p>\n
Not over races
\ngeographical spaces or gender divides
\nThese are diversions that disguise
\nthe true oppressors that hide<\/p>\n
Behind political deceptions
\nof democratic rule
\nIt’s the rich who have power
\nand consider the rest of us fools<\/p>\n
They teach us to admire
\nand aspire to be like them
\nCut other’s throats and gloat
\non wealth and whim<\/p>\n
An uncouth and bewildered herd
\nis what they call us
\nProclaiming an unwritten right
\nto rule over all of us<\/p>\n
We must dethrone them
\nif we’re ever to be free
\nA truth no owner wants
\nslaves to see<\/p>\n
So the world’s workers
\nand the oppressed must unite
\nJoin ranks as a people’s army
\nand fight<\/p>\n
Because the rich will never
\ngive what the people ask for
\nWe must take power
\nunited in class war<\/p>\n
We can counter their war machine
\nthat encircles the globe
\nPretending to champion freedom
\nbut holding the world in a choke hold<\/p>\n
Once in Amerika we wake up
\ntake up the struggle right here
\nThe entire world can finally break free
