The least inspired
\nReduced to objects
\nOf men’s desires<\/p>\n

These are not
\nthe places
\nNor the spaces
\nShe should face
\nLeft to tend the home
\nTo fend alone
\nSupporting men doing bids
\nRearing kids
\nFearing sobriety
\nFighting anxiety
\nAnd all sorta
\nStress disorders<\/p>\n

Her place
\nIs not to face
\nThese things alone
\nInstead communities of support
\nShould surround the home
\nOf which she should
\nBe the backbone<\/p>\n

There was a time
\nWhen she refused to
\nBe degraded
\nResisted being paraded
\nAs appendages to men
\nSexualized made to lend
\nHer body to them for favors
\nThen left to bear men again in labor<\/p>\n

A woman’s place is
\nAll the spaces
\nWherein the community
\nIs fraught with disunity
\nSo that she can lend
\nHer fortitude
\nTo helping mend
\nAll those fissures
\nCracks and fractures
\nExtend her hand
\nTo help us recapture
\nThe male’s imaginations
\nThat has defected
\nFallen prey to images projected
\nTeaching that women
\nShould be rejected
\nDisrespected
\nNot loved and protected<\/p>\n

Reclaiming her role
\nOf clan leader
\nNot the caricature
\nOf a man-eater
\nAs the feminists would
\nHave us perceived her…
\nHer place is unifier
\nNot divider
\nNot gratifier
\nBut nurturer of all deep inside her<\/p>\n

To answer the riddle
\nOf world crises
\nWhat is the solution
\nTo the question
\nOf a woman’s place
\nThe answer is IN REVOLUTION!<\/p>\n
