\nAmerikan capitalism,
\nProduct of the streets
\nAt 18 sent to prison.<\/p>\n

Where he’d meet
\nOthers standing firm,
\nAnd he’d struggle
\nTo learn…<\/p>\n

Solutions to a system
\nInherently wrong,
\nWhere the weak are oppressed
\nAnd exploited by the strong.<\/p>\n

Cuz he wouldn’t fold,
\nTo the vermins, the pigs rats and moles,
\nHe spent over a decade in the hole.<\/p>\n

Within him
\nA freedom fire burned,
\nHe studied
\nAnd learned.<\/p>\n

Economics, politics
\nMilitary strategy,
\nA force of the people
\nHoned by tragedy.<\/p>\n

Became a revolutionary
\nTheorist,
\nHis analysis of U.S. fascism
\nWas the clearest.<\/p>\n

Targeted with pig violence
\nRepeated attempts on his life,
\nBut mastered the art
\nOf the close quarter fight.<\/p>\n

1000 pushups
\nDaily on fingertips,
\nBelted and chained
\nDay after day for trips.<\/p>\n

To court on a
\nTrumped up charge,
\nOf killing a prison guard,
\nA political prisoner
\nHis profile large.<\/p>\n

On 8-7-1970 the ultimate
\nPrice was paid,
\nHis younger brother gunned down
\nIn a courthouse raid.<\/p>\n

Jonathan Jackson set out
\nGun in hand,
\nTo free this
\nRevolutionary Black man.<\/p>\n

Around the world
\nGeorge was highly regarded,
\nAppointed field marshal
\nOf the Black Panther Party.<\/p>\n

This he did within
\nA man-made hell,
\nComrade George a weapon
\nForged in a cell.
\nWhat he became
\nTerrified the system,
\nBecause of the power of his words
\nAnd influence they couldn’t dismiss him.<\/p>\n

He exposed their lies
\nSo they hated him,
\nBut because the people loved him
\nThey couldn’t isolate him.<\/p>\n

His analyses and books
\nAre today still relevant,
\nPrisoners still influenced by
\nThe example he set.<\/p>\n

Calling on all
\nRaces to unite,
\nAgainst this decadent system
\nFor the ultimate fight…<\/p>\n

To win a world
\nFree of all oppression,
\nWhere divisions are overcome
\nAnd the people are in possession.<\/p>\n

Of all resources needed
\nTo provide,
\nWhat we need to not just survive
\nBut thrive,
\nHe died…<\/p>\n

As he lived in open revolt
\nThe real dragon freed several from solitary cells,
\nBare handed several pigs and rats killed.<\/p>\n

To stop an Invasion
\nAnd slaughter,
\nComrade George came out
\nUnarmed onto the.<\/p>\n

Prison’s rec yard,
\nWhere racist guards.<\/p>\n

Murdered him
\nIn cold blood,
\nWith assault rifles
\nShooting from above.<\/p>\n

A people’s martyr,
\nBefore he died he started a…<\/p>\n

Defense unit
\nFor the BPP,
\nDetermined to see
\nThe people free.<\/p>\n

This he did within
