Eyes of wonder
\ntaking everything in,
\nBreakfast dribbling
\ndown your chin.<\/p>\n

Tiny fingers grasp
\neverything in reach,
\nThe world your classroom
\neager to teach.<\/p>\n

That smile of yours
\nhad me duped,
\nYou weren’t amused
\nit was gas or taking a poop.<\/p>\n

You shouldn’t hear such things
\nexcuse my French,
\nBut how does something so adorable
\ncreate such a stench?!<\/p>\n

Your sleep cycles
\nshould be a crime,
\nIf it wasn’t me you were keeping up
\nI really wouldn’t mind.<\/p>\n

You keep me vigilant
\nHey cut that out!
\nEverything does not
\ngo in your mouth.<\/p>\n

You’re so durable
\nyou defy keeping it mild,
\nIt indeed takes a village
\nto raise you child.<\/p>\n

Somehow you’ve made me
\nyour personal chauffer,
\nFree rides everywhere
\nin a convertible stroller.<\/p>\n

You’re human perfection
\nuntainted by vices,
\nI’m at your beck and call
\nyour cuteness is license.<\/p>\n

If it was a crime
\nyou’d be a convict,
\nThere’s nothing more contagious
\nthan your giggle fits.<\/p>\n

Whoa whoa
\nno need to weep,
\nWhy oh why
\nwon’t you fall asleep?<\/p>\n

But that moment
\nwhen you’re at your best,
\nIs when you’re curled
