WAKANDA FOR WHAT (2023)<\/p>\n

Wakanda for what?
\nA comic book drama
\nTo keep our eyes wide shut.<\/p>\n

A caricature
\nof Black struggle against
\nthe most heinous conditions,
\nReplacing our actual history
\nwith animated fiction.<\/p>\n

Lowndes County Freedom Organization
\ninspired Huey P. Newton and Bobby Seale,
\nThen came Stan Lee and Marvel Comics
\nwhose idea was to steal.<\/p>\n

1966 when the Black Panther Party
\nwas founded,
\nStan Lee came out with the comic black panther
\nthat same year as if he found it.<\/p>\n

He ripped off our movement
\npresented as Black inclusion,
\nThen joined Disney
\nwith its history
\nof political prostitution.<\/p>\n

Remember Walt Disney’s movie
\nabout Donald Duck,
\nVisits Latin America
\nportrayed as if the U.S. gave a fuck.<\/p>\n

He was working for the feds
\nto expand Amerika’s dominion,
\nBy trying to win favor and
\ninfluence Latin American opinion.<\/p>\n

But Latin Americans soundly rejected
\nthis fantasy cartoon tripe,
\nAs based not on their own cultures
\nbut racist stereotypes.<\/p>\n

The same game is behind
\nthe black panther Marvel comic franchise,
\nIt’s the pigs trying to dilute Black culture
\nwith images meant to disguise.<\/p>\n

The actual Party
\nthat proved our greatest political
\nachievement yet,
\nA group the U.S. government
\ncalled the greatest domestic threat.<\/p>\n

No other organization
\nin the history of Amerika,
\nMet with so much government resistance
\nand efforts to destroy its character.<\/p>\n

Pushing this fantasy image
\nof a super hero Black king,
\nIn place of the masses as the true heroes
\nis a capitalist thing.<\/p>\n

we must understand in the struggle of classes
\nculture is a weapon,
\nThey will always try to replace popular culture
\nwith their own so we’ll be kept in.<\/p>\n

States of mind that reflect
\nthe values of our enemy,
\nTo make those who exploit and oppress us all
\nappear friendly.<\/p>\n

The Panther slogan “All power to the people!”
\nwas changed to “Wakanda forever!”,
\nA fictitious land with another man’s hand
\naiming to cut and sever.<\/p>\n

Out identification with the real Panthers
\nand their revolutionary goals,
\nAnd have us push comic
\nbook characters onto our children as our heroes.<\/p>\n

A fantasy that is unreal
\nwithout substance unbelievable,
\nTo replace what we’ve actually done
\nso we don’t see true freedom as achievable.<\/p>\n

Black panther is just a rendition
\nof that Latino Donald Duck character,
\nProjected to Black people
\nbased on a racist Afrikan caricature.<\/p>\n

But unlike Latin Americans
\nracism in Amerika has made Blacks desperate,
\nFor cinematic recognition
\nso we’re less critical of how we’re projected.<\/p>\n

And on top of that they’re generating billions
\nsucked right out of our pockets,
\nEnriching themselves at our expense
\nno other marvel movies topped it.<\/p>\n

The people are the real vibranium
\nthe natural resource that makes the world go round,
\nWakanda for what? it’s to keep us mind fucked
\nin every Black city province and town<\/p>\n

The first movie grossed so much
\nDisney and Marvel had to make a sequel,
\nWe need to counter that fantasy bullshit
