Stop! The slaver say:<br \/>\nCuz your nimble hands and feet,<br \/>\nwas made to serve me,<br \/>\nto dance, compete, be my athlete.<br \/>\nBut stay away from Fay Wray!<br \/>\nHe say<br \/>\nshe forbidden fruit!<br \/>\nBut he use her too.<br \/>\nI mean ain\u2019t it funny,<br \/>\neven the woman he supposed to cherish<br \/>\njust an object to make money.<br \/>\nTo berate. Dominate.<br \/>\nBut the ape<br \/>\ntreated her better than her own mate.<br \/>\nKinda why it was fate,<br \/>\nshe felt a soft spot for ol\u2019 Kong.<br \/>\nHer own misery<br \/>\nmade her see<br \/>\nthe slavers was wrong,<br \/>\nBut she was pampered not strong.<br \/>\nAfraid to put her neck on the line,<br \/>\nfor a gorilla<br \/>\nlike he did for her<br \/>\nwhen she was in a bind.<br \/>\nShe was blind.<br \/>\nAnd even when she tried to break out<br \/>\nher own detention<br \/>\na breakaway slave sojourner<br \/>\nhad to save her convention.<br \/>\nBut WASPs got twisted minds,<br \/>\nrape Kong\u2019s kind,<br \/>\nthen claim when we demand freedom,<br \/>\nwe talkin\u2019 \u2019bout Fay Wray\u2019s behind.<br \/>\nHe say, \u201cShe mine!\u201d<br \/>\nWon\u2019t turn her loose.<br \/>\nBut our struggle inspires her<br \/>\nto wanna bust loose.<br \/>\n\u2018Til white reaction bring out the guns and noose.<br \/>\nThen she bail, leave us jailed,<br \/>\ninside she vacillate.<br \/>\nWatch them pierce, flail and flagellate,<br \/>\nour flesh and<br \/>\nconcentrate<br \/>\ntheir firepower and incinerate.<br \/>\nTo teach the untamed ape<br \/>\nby lynching, a lesson<br \/>\n\u2019bout rebellin\u2019,<br \/>\nwith guns branded like Smith and Wesson.<br \/>\nAnd we suppose to just take shit.<br \/>\nBut, hell naw! We don\u2019t buy it.<br \/>\nLike Kong we go ape shit.<br \/>\nThey call it inner-city riot\u2026<br \/>\nInsurrection,<br \/>\nand declare a state of emergency.<br \/>\nBut we need direction,<br \/>\nto stage a real insurgency<br \/>\nto get free.<br \/>\nThat\u2019s why they aim to slay and scourge,<br \/>\nleaders like Malcolm X, Comrade George,<br \/>\nFred Hampton, MLK.<br \/>\nThey target the head<br \/>\nto make us easy to play<br \/>\nagainst ourselves<br \/>\nand make us easy prey.<br \/>\nTil we exterminated,<br \/>\nthe nightmare scenario eliminated.<br \/>\nManufactured white fright vindicated.<br \/>\nDistorting class contradictions<br \/>\nwith ones based on skin.<br \/>\nA distraction<br \/>\nfrom united action<br \/>\nagainst the rich white men,<br \/>\nwho got<br \/>\nBlack, White, Yellow<br \/>\nRed and Brown all penned in.<br \/>\nYeah, you right,<br \/>\nthat King Kong script<br \/>\ndid have us in mind.<br \/>\nA subliminal message, to teach our kind<br \/>\nthat capitalism\u2019s the greatest<br \/>\ngorilla killa of all time.<br \/>\nSo we best fold and bend,<br \/>\nor face mass hysteria<br \/>\nto bury the<br \/>\nbeast within.<br \/>\nFear and hate<br \/>\nwhipped up by media spin.<br \/>\nSo bow down, do as the Romans do,<br \/>\nstay in line.<br \/>\nBut we still here,<br \/>\nbiding our time.<br \/>\nAin\u2019t dead yet!<br \/>\nDone fell and got back up a thousand times.<br \/>\nSurvived every hardship<br \/>\ntheir murderous minds could design.<br \/>\nAnd we still clinging to the walls,<br \/>\nbeating our chest,<br \/>\nstill rebellin\u2019 yet!<br \/>\nAnd we might be \u2019bout to get \u2013<br \/>\nwise<br \/>\nExpose the racist lies.<br \/>\nOrganize<br \/>\nall colors to uprise.<br \/>\nUnite the masses,<br \/>\nagainst the ruling classes.<br \/>\nNeutralize<br \/>\ntheir agents and spies.<br \/>\nMan the passes,<br \/>\nto hunt the hunters,<br \/>\nand kill the killas.<br \/>\nFlip their script \u2026<br \/>\nfrom gorilla to guerrillas<br \/>\nSo in the end you&#8217;ll see<br \/>\nKing Kong ain&#8217;t got shit on me!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>By Kevin &#8220;Rashid&#8221; Johnson<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Who is King Kong?
